This project is based on the Concept idea of "Drop & Forget", that is, easy on site installation with minimum installation costs in respect to the existing infra-structures of an urban environment. Robust concrete fluid forms, carefully balanced, creates an embracing and comfortable seating experience.
This bench, designed following eco-design strategies, takes street furniture to a new level. Equally at home in urban or natural surroundings, the fluid lines create a variety of seating options within one bench. The materials used are recycled aluminium for the base and steel for the seat, chosen for their recyclable and durable properties; it has a bright and resistant powder coated finish ideal for outdoor use in all weathers. Designed in Mexico City by Daniel Olvera, Hiroshi Ikenaga, Alice Pegman and Karime Tosca.

The ambition of this design is to merge ancient Egyptian history with the futuristic fluid methodology of design. It is a literal translation of Egyptian most iconic religious tool into a fluid form of street furniture that borrows the characteristics of the flowing style where no specific shapes or design is advocated. The Eye represents both the male and female counterparts in the procreation of God Ra. The street furniture hence is presented in a sturdy design symbolizing masculinity and strength while its curvaceous looks portray femininity and gracefulness.
