garden cube

A maximum, minimalistic garden on a space of 130/130/130 cm. The European interpretation of Japanese Zen Gardens. Forming a cube with a pruned yew and a limestone. The joint between both is defined by an almost diagonal line through the cube. Two materials, plant and stone, a simple shape, following Mies van der Rohes claim:"Less is more". The sculpture moved from Germany to Armenia, where it is placed at the beginning of the Prince of Wales Avenue in the United World College in DILIJAN, ARMENIA.

Re-leaf

In each autumn, fallen leaves are everywhere on the street, not be used. To figure out a way of fallen leaves and give trees more fertilizer, the team find a solution in the tree pools design. Return to the Roots is the solution of fallen leaves. Semi-closed tree pool can effectively avoid water runoff. Trees are spread fertilizer which is rot by their own fallen leaves in the enclosed space formed by the tree pool, so as to increase soil nutrients and stimulate tree growth.

Croma

The Croma bench system with its essential, yet playful form and community-friendly space-shaping makes it a deliberate part of its environment. One of its advantages results from the versatility of its construction, as it consists of five basic modules which can make up large, block-like clusters. The diverse form constitutes small bays, where several groups of people can easily coexist. As an object, the Croma bench system is suitable for dividing a space in a subtle yet firm manner, making it an urban meeting point and lounging spot.

Tulpi Arabesque

Tulpi-Arabesque is designer Marco Manders newest design, a new addition to the Tulpi product line. This design was not only inspired by the Tulip but also by the typical arabic ornaments and script. Like the minarets, the shape is slender and elegant. From every angle the brightly colored inner tray is visible. An additional advantage is that the owner can quickly recognize if the tray needs emptying. Marco Manders embraces the cohesion of environment and people, playfully contributing to, and thus enhancing, the value, appearance and importance of the surroundings.

EnGo

EnGo is an off-the-grid lighting solution powered by solar and kinetic energy generated from footsteps. Inspired by natural calm shapes and maximally utilizing sunlight, it creates a new visual and social ambient, while harvesting renewable energy. With a remote management platform and an array of incorporated sensors, EnGo is an interactive piece of street furniture that maximizes resources and collects data from a site. Features like lighting color change over a smart phone and a Charge Spot for mobile devices modernize public lighting and bring potential advertisement opportunities.
