Tulip umbrella

The remodeling of the existing parking lot in the small seaport town of Youghal quickly became an iconic visual symbol for the town. The 12 umbrellas that measure 6 x 6 m cover the former parking lot and convert it into a meeting place capable of withstanding a wide range of weather conditions. Local residents have since lovingly nicknamed the area “Umbrella Square”. Nothing more to add to this urban architectural intervention? It could not have been better – and this is the case for everyone involved.

Waves

Waves bench which is designed for performing arts venue Zorlu Center PSM’s stairs in Istanbul, gives fluidity to outdoor stairs. Made of cross sections that are fabricated each one separate from the other. They are then assembled together for people to sit individually or collectively. Waves was constructed from steel, retified wood and wheels. Coming in 11 different movable modules are all harmonic to each other. Waves defines the space in a smooth way becoming urban furniture that people interact with. It is intended to be used by everyone and meant to be a meeting and resting spot for all.

The Zephyr

The Zephyr is a multifunctional bicycle storage bollard. As pictured here on the waterfront in Geelong (Australia), the Zephyr is a sculptured bollard, a classical design element. It brings Art to the environment where the enjoyment of the outdoors can be appreciated, either alone, or with friends. So, use it to park your bicycle, enjoy the view, enjoy the company of others and enjoy the style and sheer sumptuousness of the Zephyr.

SITy

SITy bench is designed as an alternative view to the use of traditional concrete as color, form and texture. SITy bench consists of a body, seating units and a 3D map. All parts will be made of concrete. By bringing a new look to the concrete seating units used in simple geometric forms and making a new design using colour, form and texture differences brings creativity to the foreground in this design. The map shows the bank's location and expects the user to understand it. During the usage period, the map will be subject to graphical and visual interventions of the users and will change.
