Luminous Island is a light art exhibition held in Penghu, Taiwan. The theme is the ocean world of Penghu in autumn and winter. Thirteen light art installations are inspired by marine creatures. The lanterns combine fabric with small LED lights, instead of the usual iron and fabric structure. Corridors at the entrance and the exit form the feeling of entering and leaving an underwater world. Rust-proof and corrosion-resistant materials protect the lanterns near the sea.
